The income gap in the United States is at its widest point in nearly a century.

That's according to a group of economists from the United States, England, and France who analyzed IRS figures.

Last year, the income of the top one percent of wealthy Americans jumped almost 20 percent.

The increase for everyone else was only one percent.

Since the recession ended in June 2009, nearly all of the income gains have gone to the wealthiest Americans.
