Stafford, Va. - A Virginia dentist will see her felony charge dropped under one condition: She has to agree to not spank her child for at least two years. A Stafford County judge offered that deal to Felisha Kimble-Tanks.
Earlier this year, Tanks spanked her 6-year-old daughter with a leather belt. Tanks said it was punishment because her daughter acted up in school.
Apparently, bruises were left behind and the girl's father filed a complaint against his estranged wife.
Tanks was facing a felony but took the deal to not use corporal punishment.
