Four charged after major cocaine operation is shut down in Dare County

Dare County, N.C. - A major cocaine operation was shut down in Dare County. So far, four people have been arrested and more could be facing charges.

On Friday, they were placed in custody after the Dare County Narcotics Task Force built its case.

Together, those suspects are facing a laundry list of charges.

Ronald Barb, 29, and Meagan Gomez, 23, live in the same Kill Devil Hills home.

Barb is in the most trouble facing 26 counts including trafficking cocaine.

Gomez is accused of conspiring to sell the dope.

Ted Greer, 29 and Rhonda Barb, 31, live in the same home in Harbinger, North Carolina.

They were picked up on cocaine charges.

Police couldn't tell us how these four are related.

This multi-agency investigation is ongoing and more arrests could be on the way.
