Virginia Beach, Va. – This Friday, September 27, is the first day of the North American Sandsculpting Championship, part of the annual Virginia Beach Neptune Festival.

The event is set up from 4th Street to 10th Street on the beach.

According to the event website, the School Division is set up between 4th – 6th Streets, and the Freelance Division is between 8th – 10th Streets.

Here are the “Neptune Land of Sand” hours:

Friday, 9/27: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Saturday, 9/28: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Sunday, 9/29: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Monday – Friday: 9/30 – 10/4: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Saturday, 10/5: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Sunday, 10/6: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person. Age 12 and under is free while accompanied with an adult. Also, receive a free discount lunch coupon with your admission ticket.

The Neptune Festival includes the Neptune Art Show, North American Sandsculpting Championship, Atlantic Regatta, Neptune’s 5K Run, Surf Classic, wine festival, and more.
