Many people have heard of Yuengling Lager, but soon – you can buy Yuengling ice cream. That’s according to a report from WNEP.

Yuengling made ice cream years ago, according to the report, and it helped the company survive at a time when beer was banned.

The production line at the Leiby’s Ice Cream plant near Tamaqua makes their own brand of ice cream; they also make ice cream under different brand names.

Note – there is no business connection between the beer maker and the ice cream company, according to WNEP. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a family connection.
