Virginia Beach, Va. – On Friday, the principal of Lynnhaven Middle School sent out an alert to parents about rumors of a threat against the school.
Violet Hoyle, the principal, stated in the alert that the rumor was unfounded and untrue.
The school also investigated the rumored threat and they found it to be baseless.
They say the school continues to be a safe environment for students and staff and they encourage students to come forward immediately if they believe there is a threat to any student or the school as a whole.
