Special event parking in Norfolk is big business.
Most of the time, it's about 5 dollars per car and that adds up to about 1.5 million a year.
But not all of the money collected goes to the city. The city auditor thinks someone may be stealing.
Records obtained by NewsChannel 3 show cashiers have mishandled about $10,000 just within the last few years.
For a big, busy event, it's easy to see how a parking cashier may come up a few dollars light. But city records show some cashiers come up short by hundreds of dollars.
