Currituck County Schools are releasing students early on Wednesday due to heavy rains causing hazardous road conditions in areas across the county.
Dismissal will begin at 12:00 p.m. for Knotts Island Elementary, Moyock Elementary, Shawboro Elementary, and Griggs Elementary.
Dismissal will be at 12:15 p.m. for Central Elementary, JP Knapp Early College, Currituck County Middle, and Currituck County High.
Dismissal will be at 1:00 p.m. for Jarvisburg Elementary and Moyock Middle.
