On Wednesday, the Coast Guard suspended its search for a man near Cape Lookout, NC.
They say he was on a 22-foot Bayliner that was taking on water near the Lookout Bight Jetty.
Someone contacted the Coast Guard at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He said the boat was taking on water and that he was going to abandon it.
Crews searched for about 9 hours and covered about 90 square nautical miles.
