The Disciple University of Virginia Annual Conference presents its second of three sessions, dialogue, strategize and take action to affect and improve Racial Justice starting with the city of Norfolk, Virginia.
Directed by Dr. Wayne Lavender and Dr. Stephen Wall-Smith
When? – 9th of November, 2013
Time? – between 8:30am – 12noon
Where? – At the Park Place United Methodist Church, main auditorium – 500 West 34th Street in Norfolk, Virginia.
How much? – Free and open to the public
Who? – Not only Norfolk residents, but for all to share their experiences and contribute to the effort of improving the racial justice starting with Norfolk.
Featuring: Civic Leaders, Faith-based leaders, Business leaders, Academic Scholars/students
Why? – Because every person has worth and value. All have experienced life situations that relate to racial wholeness in society. This opportunity is a three part series for the community and civic and faith-based leaders to participate and contribute to the continuing dialogue on the issue of improving racial justice starting with the city of Norfolk. We will record and document milestones and contributions that will be used for future efforts to improve the racial atmosphere of all cities.

11:30 – 12:00pm – Summary, evaluation, Sacred Moments
