Cleveland (WJW) — Twenty people in Cleveland were feeling the heat Saturday night.

A Cleveland based print and design company called Hot Cards attempted to get into the Guinness Book of World Records. The category was the ‘Most People Performing Full Body Burns’ in the Flats.

A total of 21 people were set on fire.

A representative from the Guinness Book was flown into town from New York City to make it official.

“Every Guinness Record has different degrees of difficulty. This one has a lot of danger too. Luckily, Ted Batchelor was an absolute professional at setting people on fire,” said Phillip Robertson, from the Guinness Book of World Records.

The burn was successful, and now the 20 participants have made their way into the Guinness Book of World Records.

The event also raised money for the Cleveland Food Bank, and a charity to help impoverished families in South Africa.
