Norfolk, Va. - Naval Station Norfolk will conduct training exercises on Willoughby Bay and Elizabeth River on Tuesday, October 22nd – Thursday, October 24th.
The training will involve blank ammunition machine gun fire.
According to the Navy, the training in Willoughby Bay will take place on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The training on the Elizabeth River will be contained within the Naval Station’s port security barrier at Pier 7 on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Both events will involve the Naval Station’s Harbor Security Boats opposing an orange training Rigid Aluminum Hull boat.
