The candidates for Governor are going flat-out to the finish line.
There has been no let-up on Election Day. The candidates are not sitting back waiting for the voters. They’re going to get them.
Democrat Terry McAuliffe made two stops in Hampton Roads on Tuesday – Norfolk and Portsmouth. Both have a lot of Democratic votes and McAuliffe needs to get them to the polls.
In non-Presidential years, Democrats tend to vote less than Republicans in Virginia.
The Hampton Roads appearances were McAuliffe’s last before returning to Northern Virginia to wait for the results.
And on the final day, a new ad supporting Ken Cuccinelli hit the airwaves. Like many before it, it was paid for by an outside group – The Conservative Campaign Committee. It was the last of more than 50,000 TV ads in the campaign for governor.
