Virginia Beach man charged in July credit union robbery

Virginia Beach, Va. – Virginia Beach police have made an arrest in the July robbery of the Chartway Federal Credit Union at 3841 Holland Road.

24-year-old Jovon Raeford Thomas has been charged with robbery after he allegedly gave the teller a note and demanded money, then ran toward the Chimney Hill area.

He is currently being held without bond at the Virginia Beach Correctional Center.
