Today we honor Lieutenant Colonel Christina Schweiss.
She attended the United States Army Military Academy from 1988 to 1992, and graduated 2nd lieutenant. She served as platoon leader for bravo company 327 signal brigade in Haiti.
As captain she commanded a satellite company in Landstuhl,Ggermany and received numerous awards for her excellent performance. She received her Master's degree in International Affairs at Columbia University and taught at the US Military Academy.
In 2005 she was assigned to lead project officer for the unified action project at US Joint Forces command`s joint futures laboratory in Suffolk.
She retired in 2012 and currently lives in Virginia Beach and home schools her two children.
