(CNN) — Seven cars of an Amtrak passenger train headed from New Orleans to New York derailed overnight in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the company said in a statement.

All nine of the train’s cars remained upright, and there were no reports of serious injuries, Amtrak said.

The train was carrying 207 passengers and 11 crew members. Chartered buses will take the passengers to their destinations, the company said.

The cause of the derailment was not immediately clear.
