Newport News, Va. - A 19-year-old man has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in Newport News on Thursday.
Police say this occurred in the 300 block of Deputy Lane.
Calls came in to police at 4:47 p.m.
Police say he was alert and talking.
There is no information about a suspect at this time.
