UPDATE: Repairs have been made and water service has been restored to the affected residences.
Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Department of Public Utilities Line Maintenance Division will have the water off in the 200 block of Bute Street and the 600 block of Second Avenue from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013.
The water service will be shut off to make emergency repairs to a six inch water main break.
This water outage will affect approximately 26 customers.
Residents who are at home have been notified.
