Virginia Beach, Va. – The Virginia Aquarium is caring for a cold stunned Kemp’s Ridley turtle rescued off Cape Charles on Friday.

The turtle, named ‘Loki’ is the second cold stunned turtle they’ve received this month.

Loki is 15.8 inches long and weighs 18.7 pounds.

The aquarium says on its Facebook page that Loki is active and swimming around and they are working on gradually warming the water to reach normal body temperature for a Kemp’s Ridley.
