A five-year-old Golden Retriever in Massachusetts is safe and sound after being rescued from the icy Charles River over the weekend.
Crosby the pup fell through the ice in Wellesley, Mass., about 50 yards off shore.
Its owners frantically called 911 and firefighters responded.
They arrived and strapped on their special cold water survival suits and braved the icy waters. Crosby swam towards them and the two firefighters in the water were able to pull him to shore.
After Crosby was dried off, warmed up and checked out, she was reunited with her owner.
