UPDATE: Pacific Avenue is now open, but 23rd Street is blocked. Stay tuned for updates.

A fire broke out at a longtime favorite business at the Oceanfront on Thursday morning.

"Smoke coming up, and the sirens, you know, you look out the window...oh boy. Jumped on the bike took a ride over to see what was going on," says Perry Viscusi of Virginia Beach.

Smoke poured out of the Jungle Golf building and could be seen from several blocks away just before 8 a.m. this morning.

It took more than a dozen firefighters about an hour to put out the flames.

Beach police blocked Pacific Avenue from 22nd Street to 24th Streets as crews fought the fire from the outside of the two-story building.

Luckily - no one was hurt.

At this point, it's not clear how bad the fire damaged the popular mini golf and arcade spot.

"So very fortunate that no one was there, I have noticed the owner is there crying so I'm sure everyone will come around and reach out to them and help them get it back up, because we'll miss it if goes away," says Viscusi.
