Today we honor sergeant First Class Delando Mercer with the 302nd inland cargo transfer company.
He has served 18 years in the Army, did 3 tours in Iraq, and is currently stationed at Fort Eustis.
He was born and raised in Norfolk. His family says he's a devoted father, mentor, and an awesome big brother. Newschannel three thanks him for his service.
