A Los Angeles man is in jail after video surfaced showing him dragging a puppy down the street.
28-year-old Dossey James repeatedly dragged the puppy on a leash allegedly because the dog refused to walk, according to KTLA.
The puppy received numerous cuts and scrapes on his legs and stomach area which required required surgery, police said. He was expected to make a full recovery.
