Today we honor Master Sergeant Emmett Tibbs.
He is pictured here with Vice President Joe Biden.
Master Sergent Tibbs retired after 25 years in the Air Force.
During his service, he was stationed at Midenhall in the UK, with the 100th security forces squadron.
He fought in Beirut, Desert Storm and did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He received 1 joint service commendation and 5 commendation medals.
He also served on the honor guard for President Bush's inauguration.
Master Sergeat Tibbs is now a civilian contractor stationed in Pakistan.
His family says he is a wonderful son, brother, and father and they are extremely proud of him!
We thank him for his service.
