What are the roads looking like in Virginia Beach this morning?
Drew Lankford of the City of Virginia Beach is giving us a morning update.
Lankford says there are still some minor icy spots on the primary roads in Virginia Beach, but they are mostly all clear.
Crews are still working to clear secondary roads. The secondary roads which lead to hospitals and fire stations are priority; residential roads are unfortunately at the bottom of the priority list.
Parked cars which line residential roads make it difficult for crews to clear the roadways, Lankford says.
Crews focus their attention on secondary roads that feed into major arteries, such as Virginia Beach Blvd.
