Portsmouth, Va. - The crew of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower took action for those in need.
The sailors helped to prepare food at the Oasis Social Ministry in Portsmouth.
Their service last week was a part of the Command's leadership development program.
The ministry helps serve meals to the homeless in our community.
Right now, the Eisenhower is undergoing scheduled docking at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
