Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt tested the aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) system yesterday as they train for future deployments. AFFF is a mixture of water and highly concentrated detergent used on the flight deck and hangar bay to smother fires.
