What started out as a fun project between mommy and daughter has evolved into a viral sensation.
Four-year-old fashionista “Mayhem,” and her mother, Angie, have created a bevy of paper couture and posted the pictures to Instagram.
Angie told the Huffington Post that she suggested making a dress out of paper last year and her daughter took the idea and ran with it.
She says while most of the dresses are paper based, they use a wide variety of materials.
“We use a lot of construction paper, but we also use tissue paper, wrapping paper, and gift bags. We have also used silk scarves, tulle, and aluminum foil. Basically, if we can find it laying around the house and it’s pliable, it’s fair game. Clear packing tape and glue are our adhesives of choice,” Angie told the Huffington Post.

The pair pulls inspiration from award shows, books, cartoons and everyday life.
