Portsmouth, Va. – Elizabeth River Tunnels work crews continue installing signage on Interstate 464 (I-464) this Thursday, March 6.
For the safety of both motorists and workers, traffic will be stopped for up to 30 minutes to complete the installation of each sign.
Work takes place this Thursday from 12:00 a.m.–3:00 a.m. at the following locations:
• I-464 North at Exit 6 (State Street)– right lane closure and one traffic stoppage lasting up to up 30 minutes
• I-464 North at Exit 5 (S. Main St.) – one traffic stoppage lasting up to 30 minutes
