Update: Westbound Downtown Tunnel has reopened after an accident with a 2-mile backup. Delays continue on both sides, the Jordan bridge and the Midtown Tunnel.
I-64 Westbound is backed up four miles to Northampton Blvd. The HOV lane is now open at mile marker 279.
A two-vehicle accident has halted traffic at the westbound Downtown Tunnel.
ERT says to expect an extended delay of at least 15-20 minutes while the crash is cleared.
Plan on using alternate routes.
