Norfolk, Va. - Shamrockin’ in Ghent (formerly the Greening of Ghent) is celebrating 20 years of St. Paddy’s Day celebrations in Ghent.
This event is a great opportunity to celebrate Irish culture while bringing the community together to raise money for Hope House Foundation.
This block party is free and open to the public and will take place on Colley Avenue in Norfolk’s historic Ghent district between Shirley and Gates Avenues. There will be musical performances by The Newport News Police Pipes and Drums, Glasgow Kiss, and The Deloreans.
Hope House Foundation is a local non-profit and is the only organization in Virginia that supports adults with developmental disabilities exclusively in their own homes.
