Portsmouth, Va. – The City of Portsmouth has announced that County Street will be closed to thru traffic between Yorktown Avenue and Williamsburg Avenue, which is adjacent to the Portsmouth Social Services Building; and, at Yorktown Avenue between King Street and County Street, beginning Friday, March 14.
Posted detours are in place.
Access to all buildings and residences along County Street and Yorktown Avenue will be maintained.
These streets will be closed to thru trafic until further notice to facilitate construction-related activities for the new Behavioral Healthcare Services building.
