Man and woman arrested in Elizabeth City break-in may be tied to other cases

Elizabeth City, N.C. – A man and woman in jail after allegedly breaking into a home on Trinkaloe Rd. may be tied to three other burglaries in the area.

19-year-old Rasheen Jerome Arnold and 21-year-old Darian Regina Dillard were arrested Thursday morning shortly after 11am when Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a break-in at the home.

The two stole four book bags full of electronics and 11 long guns, according to deputies. The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office believes the arrest will also solve three other burglary cases.

Arnold was charged with Felony Breaking & Entering, Felony Larceny, Felony Possession of Stolen Property, & 11 counts of Larceny of a Firearm.

He is currently in jail under a $21,000.00 bond.

Dillard was charged with Felony Breaking & Entering, Felony Larceny, Felony Possession of Stolen Property, and 11 counts of Larceny of a Firearm.

She is currently in jail under a $21,000.00 bond.
