Portsmouth, Va. – The Young Audiences of Virginia’s Dance for Life residency was held at Simonsdale Elementary School in Portsmouth.
The students participated in an 8-week after school dance residency, where they learned Ballroom and Zumba dance. Students also learned about health and wellness, including healthy eating and staying active.
The program was funded in part by Portsmouth General Hospital Foundation, Business Consortium for Arts Support, Portsmouth Museum and Fine Arts Commission, and Virginia Commission for the Arts.
