We’re less than 24 hours away from the new Chick-fil-A opening in Norfolk.

To celebrate – the owner of the new restaurant, Mike Easmeil, is a special guest on the WGNT Morning Show. (Video below)

The store on Monticello Avenue in Ghent opens at 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

The first 100 adults in line will get free Chick-fil-A for a year.

People were out there as early as 5 a.m. Wednesday morning. There were 165 people lined up as of 6:15 a.m.

There will be a canned food drive from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

When you donate five or more non-perishable items, you can get a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich.
