Omaha, Nebraska - Police say a would-be carjacker never made off with the vehicle because he could not drive it!
Theo Peters was watching his wife walk to her car in Omaha, Nebraska.
It is part of his daily routine, but this week he saw someone try to steal the car as his wife got in it.
Theo quickly called 911 and watched the suspect, but he never took off.
Police say the carjacker did not know how to drive a stick shift.
As the police were pulling up, they say the teen carjacker started to run.
So there is definitely an advantage sticking with a manual transmission.
