Today we honor Specialist John Yoder.
He served in the US Army from 1967 to 1970. He was a combat medic in Vietnam.
He's earned a number of awards, including the bronze star, combat medical badge, and three purple hearts.
Specialist Yoder is from Newport News, but currently lives in Hertford County, North Carolina.
We thank him for his service.
