Sonic Drive-In made an announcement on its Facebook page Tuesday morning (April Fools’ Day) that the company will be releasing a new “Kale Cream Pie Shake.” The company posted the photo of the “beverage” with a caption that reads: “Coming this summer.”
Some users commented on the post, saying it must be an April Fools’ joke. To which Sonic Drive-In replied several times, “Nope, real kale! It’s blended in – you’ll see in our behind the scenes video.”
Sonic also posted this reply to another user: “It’s a match made in heaven. Both ice cream & kale, and you & this shake.”
