The SWAT team was called out to a Beach neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon to serve a warrant.
They say this happened in the 5900 block of Margate Avenue. They were there to serve a warrant. The person the warrant was intended for was not at the residence at the time. Police and SWAT then left the scene.
They say there’s no indication that the person was armed or that this is connected to any other cases in the Lake Edwards area.
