Nightly closures at the Gilmerton Bridge will continue through at least August 2014, according to VDOT.
The bridge will be closed overnight Sundays through Thursdays from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Continued construction on the bridge requires the bridge to remain in the open position, thus being closed to traffic.
