Newport News, Va. – Police say a drunk bicyclist caused a car accident Saturday night.
It happened around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Brooke Street.
Police believe the woman on bicycle was drunk and veered into the road from the sidewalk.
They say the 48-year-old fell off her bike and was hit by a SUV. She was taken the the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
