Today we honor Corporal Joseph Mcouage.
He graduated from heritage high school in 2011. He enlisted in the Marine Corps during his senior year.
He is currently on his first tour in Okinawa, Japan. While there he spent time on the USS Bonhomme Richard. His mother tells newschannel three he'll be coming home soon, then going to new river, North Carolina. She says his younger sister plans to follow in his footsteps, and enlist in the Marine Corps too. We thank him for his service.
