Virginia Beach, Va. – On Friday evening, May 9, traffic will be affected on South Independence Boulevard near the intersection of Bonney Road while repairs are made to a sewer force main.
Northbound traffic will be reduced to three lanes just prior to the intersection of Bonney Road.
Advanced warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the lane closures.
Repairs are scheduled to start at approximately 7 p.m. and are expected to be completed on Saturday.
The repairs are scheduled for this time of day to minimize impacts to traffic in the area.
