UPDATE: Officials say crews are still working to clean up the concrete. One lane is still blocked and the concrete has been moved to the side.
Newport News, Va. – A tractor trailer traveling westbound on I-64 lost its load of concrete slabs and now crews are working to clear the roadway.
This has caused a major traffic delay, and right now VDOT is working with the trucking company to clean up the concrete. The ramp to I-64 from Victory has been shut down.
Police were notified at approximately 5:26 p.m. about the incident.
