Some residents in Virginia Beach and Norfolk were without power Thursday morning.
In Virginia Beach, a blown fuse caused an outage at 6:03 a.m., according to Bonita Harris of Dominion Virginia Power. The power was out for a little more than 300 customers along N. Woodhouse Road and Stephens Road. Crews restored power at 7:35 a.m.
In Norfolk, a vehicle struck a 40-foot pole on Hampton Boulevard, breaking a cross arm and some other equipment. There are no power outages related to that incident, Harris says.
