Virginia Beach, Va. – A motorcyclist had to be rushed to the hospital on Tuesday morning after slamming into an SUV.
Police say at 11:13 a.m., the motorcyclist was going east in the 4600 block of Virginia Beach Blvd.
He was going toward Independence Blvd. when an SUV pulled out from Corporate Blvd.
The SUV stopped at the median and pulled forward. The motorcycle hit the SUV in the front passenger side.
The driver of the SUV was charged with failure to yield and was released on a summons.
Police say speed and alcohol were not involved.
