The City of Chesapeake has announced that a westbound lane of Military Highway between the Gilmerton Bridge and Shell Road will be closed from Monday, June 9th to approximately Wednesday, July 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
Crews will be re-grading the ditches and the work requires that the right-hand, westbound lane be closed for the work during the day.
Motorists should be alert to work crews, equipment in the area and possible delays.
