Hampton Va. - There was some serious wobbling going on at Wawa on Friday. It was part of the grand opening of the first Wawa in Hampton.
The wobble was a warm-up to the hoagies for heroes race.
It was a match-up between Hampton police and firefighters. It was all to see who could assemble the most hoagie sandwiches.
The police won beating the firefighters in a food competition.
In the end, the big winner was the Special Olympics of Virginia.
Today’s event raised $2,000 for them.
The police took home a pretty nice trophy, too.
