Seattle meteorologist Morgan Palmer was onboard American Eagle flight 3195 from Abilene, Texas to Dallas-Fort Worth on Thursday when he recorded video of a storm that was going on outside.
As the plane was taxiing to the runway, golf ball-sized hail started pounding the outside of the plane.
Palmer recorded video for more than seven minutes where you can hear the storm raging and the hail hitting the plane.
Due to the damage, the plane had to return to the gate.
