Miami Lakes, FL– October may be Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but that doesn’t stop one organization from continuing to raise awareness year-round.
The Women’s Breast Health Initiative, Florida Affiliate (WBHI) has declared June 23, National Pink Day.
The non-profit organization requests that their pink-clad supporters upload pictures of themselves to the WBHI’s facebook page, or other social media websites using the hashtags #NationalPinkDay and #NationalPinkDayWBHI.
The campaign’s goal is to remind women about the importance of breast health, preventive care, and early detection.
